He is the Founder Chairman and key promoter as well as Non Executive Director of Span Divergent Limited. He is MD (Pathology) from B. J. Medical College, Ahmedabad with brilliant academic career. While practicing as Pathologist at Surat since 1966 onwards, he established Span Diagnostics in 1972 to manufacture and market IVD products with in-house R & D efforts.
He has published several research papers and filed Patents in field of IVD. He occupied prestigious positions as follows:
- President of Association of Diagnostics Manufacturers of India (ADMI).

- Was member of task force on HRD, Dept. of Biotechnology, Govt. of India.
Mr. Veeral P. Desai
Managing Director
He is the Managing Director of the company. He is Bachelor of Pharmacy and is associated with the company since 1991. Since his association, company has grown substantially and expanded its operations across the globe. He is driving force behind bringing in newer technologies and modernization of manufacturing facility. As a significant contributor and a fast decision maker, he is leading the company to new heights.
Mr. Needamangalam Gopalaswami
Chairman & Non Executive Independent Director
Mr. Needamangalam Gopalaswami served as an Ex Chief Election Commissioner of India. He is M.Sc (Chemistry) by qualification as well as he has done Diploma in Urban Development Planning. He is associated with the company since year 2009. The company is proud to have Mr. Needamangalam Gopalaswami as a director on the Board of Span Divergent Ltd.
Mr. Shyamal Ghosh
Independent & Non Executive Director
He is retired secretary to govt. of India (IAS) and associated with the company since 2006. He is an Independent Director on the board as well as the chairman of the audit committee. He has held various senior positions and headed various government departments and corporations. His vast experience is very useful and valuable to the company from time to time.
Mr. Paras Desai

Mr. Paras Desai has completed Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Veer Narmad University, Surat and he has more than 25 years of experience in areas of Finance, Marketing, General Administration and Strategic Planning.
Dr. Shefali Desai

Dr. Shefali Desai, has completed MBBS from Veer Narmad South Gujarat University, Surat and completed MD (Pathology) and DCP (Pathology). She has in depth knowledge of Pathology along with more than 20 years of working experience in areas of Clinical Pathology and General Business Administration.

He is FCA, GRAD, CWA by qualification. He is practising as Chartered Accountant since last 36 years having varied experience in auditing, coporate advisory services in the field of taxation both domestic and international, project finance and working capital appraisals, company law compliances, company secretarial matters. FEMA regulations, indirect taxes, management accounting & MIS etc specialising in providing total solution to foreign companies setting up Indian presence.
